Meet Alexander Laufer, assistant4peace

Hi,

My name is Alexander, I am 24 years old and I am currently living in Amsterdam. I was born in Paris and I grew up in Rome, Italy. I am in the first year of the MSc Brain and Cognitive Science at the University of Amsterdam.
I have many many interests that span science to politics and art, especially music. I used to DJ when I was a bit younger; now I play guitar and sing in a student choir in Haarlem. I also recently bought a keyboard but have yet to learn how to play it :) I also like photography since I was a teenager.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you from so many different countries, I have the feeling it will be a great melting pot!
See you soon.

Meet Chiara Köhler, Austrian delegation

Incredible! Wow, everything that I read about you so far, sounds super exciting and I can’t wait to actually get to know all of you!
Anyways, my name is Chiara and I am living with my family in Bregenz, which is situated at Lake Constance.
Whenever I find some time for myself, I like to read, sometimes do Yoga or go for running! I love theater and am myself involved in two theater clubs, and I often enjoy watching plays too! Soon my theater group is going to perform “Playing for time” from Arthur Miller, which tells the story of a girls’ orchestra from Auschwitz.
It’s a very touching and emotional play!
Furthermore, I am always anxious to travel and to get to know new cultures (as I guess all of you are!).
See you soon,
Chiara

Meet Yvonne Schamilow, Akademisches Gymnasium, Vienna

Hi everybody! :)
My name is Yvonne and I’m almost 15 years old. I live with my big brother and my parents in Vienna and visit there a school focused on languages. My hobbies are reading, acting, dancing and listening to music. I’m interested in art, psychology, ethics, poetry, sociology, different cultures and religions and a lot of other things. I LOVE pandas and unicorns (that bring also a lot of peace and love :)).
I think the Peace camp will be a worthwhile experience and I can’t wait to meet you all!

My school is the "Akademisches Gymnasium" in Vienna. The “AKG” (Akademisches Gymnasium Wien) is a secondary school focused on languages. I’m in the 5th grade. About 500-600 students visit this school in Vienna.
